SR-Platform: An Agentic Pipeline for Natural Language-Driven Robot Simulation Environment Synthesis

Generating robot simulation environments remains a major bottleneck in simulation-based robot learning. Constructing a training-ready MuJoCo scene typically requires expertise in 3D asset modeling, MJCF specification, spatial layout, collision avoidance, and robot-model integration. We present SR-Platform, a production-deployed agentic system that converts free-form natural language descriptions into executable, physically valid MuJoCo environments. SR-Platform decomposes scene synthesis into four stages: an LLM-based orchestrator that converts user intent into a structured scene plan; an asset forge that retrieves cached assets or generates new 3D geometry through LLM-to-CadQuery synthesis; a layout architect that assigns object poses and verifies industrial constraints; and a bridge layer that assembles the final MJCF scene and merges the selected robot model. The system is deployed as a nine-service Docker stack with WebSocket progress streaming, MinIO-backed mesh storage, Qdrant-based semantic asset retrieval, Redis job state, and InfluxDB telemetry. Using 30 days of production telemetry covering 611 successful LLM calls, SR-Platform generates five-object scenes with a median end-to-end latency of approximately 50 s, while cache-accelerated scenes complete in approximately 30-40 s. The asset forge shows an 11.3% first-attempt retry rate with automatic recovery, and cached asset retrieval removes per-object LLM calls for previously generated object types. These results show that agentic scene synthesis can reduce the manual effort required to create diverse robot training environments, enabling users to produce executable MuJoCo scenes from plain English prompts in under one minute.

Octo-planner: On-device Language Model for Planner-Action Agents

AI agents have become increasingly significant in various domains, enabling autonomous decision-making and problem-solving. To function effectively, these agents require a planning process that determines the best course of action and then executes the planned actions. In this paper, we present an efficient on-device Planner-Action framework that separates planning and action execution into two distinct components: a planner agent based on Phi-3 Mini, a 3.8 billion parameter LLM optimized for edge devices, and an action agent using the Octopus model for function execution. The planner agent first responds to user queries by decomposing tasks into a sequence of sub-steps, which are then executed by the action agent. To optimize performance on resource-constrained devices, we employ model fine-tuning instead of in-context learning, reducing computational costs and energy consumption while improving response times. Our approach involves using GPT-4 to generate diverse planning queries and responses based on available functions, with subsequent validations to ensure data quality. We fine-tune the Phi-3 Mini model on this curated dataset, achieving a 97\% success rate in our in-domain test environment. To address multi-domain planning challenges, we developed a multi-LoRA training method that merges weights from LoRAs trained on distinct function subsets. This approach enables flexible handling of complex, multi-domain queries while maintaining computational efficiency on resource-constrained devices. TinyTroupe: An LLM-powered Multiagent Persona Simulation Toolkit

Recent advances in Large Language Models (LLM) have led to a new class of autonomous agents, renewing and expanding interest in the area. LLM-powered Multiagent Systems (MAS) have thus emerged, both for assistive and simulation purposes, yet tools for realistic human behavior simulation -- with its distinctive challenges and opportunities -- remain underdeveloped. Existing MAS libraries and tools lack fine-grained persona specifications, population sampling facilities, experimentation support, and integrated validation, among other key capabilities, limiting their utility for behavioral studies, social simulation, and related applications. To address these deficiencies, in this work we introduce TinyTroupe, a simulation toolkit enabling detailed persona definitions (e.g., nationality, age, occupation, personality, beliefs, behaviors) and programmatic control via numerous LLM-driven mechanisms. This allows for the concise formulation of behavioral problems of practical interest, either at the individual or group level, and provides effective means for their solution. TinyTroupe's components are presented using representative working examples, such as brainstorming and market research sessions, thereby simultaneously clarifying their purpose and demonstrating their usefulness. Quantitative and qualitative evaluations of selected aspects are also provided, highlighting possibilities, limitations, and trade-offs. The approach, though realized as a specific Python implementation, is meant as a novel conceptual contribution, which can be partially or fully incorporated in other contexts. Deceive, Detect, and Disclose: Large Language Models Play Mini-Mafia

Large language models are increasingly deployed in multi-agent settings whose outcomes hinge on social intelligence, motivating evaluations of their interactive capabilities; yet existing studies remain overwhelmingly empirical, leaving us without a theoretical understanding of how agent interactions determine collective outcomes. To address this, we introduce Mini-Mafia, a four-player simplification of the social deduction game Mafia in which a fixed night phase reduces the game to a single critical exchange among a mafioso, a detective, and a villager. In this setting, we show that the mafia win-rate p is predicted by the analytical formula logit(p) = v times (m - d), where m, d, and v represent the mafioso's deception, the detective's disclosure, and the villager's detection capabilities. We turn this analytical framework into the Mini-Mafia Benchmark, where Bayesian inference over gameplay data yields per-model estimates of the intrinsic parameters m, d, and v. For I models, only 3I parameters suffice to predict the outcomes of all I^3 tournament combinations; and in 5-fold cross-validation the formula achieves a 76.6% Brier-score reduction over a random baseline. The benchmark also reveals counterintuitive results: Grok 3 Mini is the strongest detector and GPT-5 Mini the strongest discloser, both ahead of DeepSeek V3.1, Claude Opus 4, and Claude Sonnet 4; while Claude Sonnet 4 is the weakest detector, near random chance. Together, these results show that Mini-Mafia, a simple but nontrivial multi-agent system, admits an analytical description and serves as a principled benchmark for language model interactions.

MiniMind-O Technical Report: An Open Small-Scale Speech-Native Omni Model

MiniMind-O is an open 0.1B-scale omni model built on the MiniMind language model. It accepts text, speech, and image inputs, and returns both text and streaming speech. The release includes model code, checkpoints, and the main Parquet training datasets for text-to-audio, image-to-text, and audio-to-audio training, making the complete interaction loop directly inspectable. The model uses a full MiniMind backbone as the Thinker and an independent four-layer Talker made from MiniMind blocks. Frozen SenseVoice-Small and SigLIP2 encoders provide speech and image features, which are mapped by lightweight MLP projectors and injected at modality-placeholder positions. The Talker reads a middle-layer Thinker state together with an autoregressive eight-layer Mimi-code buffer. Speaker control is handled by a dedicated speaker token, right-aligned reference codec prompts, and precomputed CAM++ speaker embeddings, so voice conditioning remains part of the audio-code context rather than a separate TTS module. With a 768-dimensional Talker, the dense and MoE variants reach average CERs of 0.0897 and 0.0900 in Thinker--Talker consistency evaluation, with overall voice-cloning similarities of 0.5995 and 0.5937. Beyond reporting a working system, the paper identifies three scale-critical design choices for small omni models: middle-layer semantic bridging, a released multimodal sequence format, and a parameter-efficient eight-codebook interface.
