My assumption is that it's just an updated gguf for Gemma fixes.

Definitely not just a gguf fix compared to 1b.
But also, weirdly broken at times. Like on occasion, some words are misspelled or corrupted ("Sly" -> "Sl1y"), or the CoT goes crazy long.
1b seemed a bit undercooked, but very coherent. This one seems kinda overcooked. But tbh, it's just a vibe test.

I was on the Q4KM, that might be why? Dunno. It only happened a couple times over many gens anyway. As I said, it's just a vibe not structured testing.

Gave 1c a quick look, and yep, it's more coherent than 1d, didn't get the (rare) weird misspellings, and the CoT feels normal. But, again, it's just really a superficial look at those models, I don't have the time to go much deeper atm.
